I don’t know why it took me so long to post this wedding – it was so gorgeous and the families were so warm and welcoming. I have so many weddings to blog and I feel like I blog more during certain times of the year. Caitlin + David had the most incredible wedding. First of all, it was at Meridian House in DC, which is a wedding photographer’s dream! Everywhere you turn, there are incredible doors, windows and details. The back patio has gorgeous trees that are topped with a canopy of leaves and are usually strung with string lights. There is a huge grassy area off to the side where ceremonies are usually held. You really don’t feel like you are in the middle of DC. Caitlin + David also had 2 ceremonies, a catholic one at The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Chevy Chase – then a Persian one back at Meridian House. I loved the unique traditions and rituals that they incorporated into both ceremonies, celebrating both sides of their families. The cake was absolutely gorgeous – I think I took like 7 different angles of it. All the vendors did an amazing job and I was so honored to be a part of it.
