Thanks for checking out my life’s work. I love photographing couples and the dynamic that happens between them. To me, it is an honor to be able to be a part of this one amazing day in a couples’ lives.
I approach weddings in a very laid back, journalistic style and really cater to your vision. I like to know what couples have in mind so I can interpret what you want your wedding images to look like. I really like to have fun and bring out the goofy in my couples – but I go on what your personalities are like. I want you to feel like YOU – when you are looking at your pictures! I will take charge with ideas and vision if you are unsure of what you are looking for. I can create a board for you on pinterest, so any ideas you or I have can be shared.
I love looking for unique locations that are a bit different – I once took a couple to a gas station and we got images that were so cute and funky. I love to think outside the box and use the world around me for inspiration.
I have been photographing weddings, family portraits and newborns in the Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia area for over 12 years. I have been featured in numerous national and local magazines and blogs including The Knot, Brides and Washingtonian Bride + Groom.
My sister and associate shooter, Melissa Arroyo, has been photographing weddings with me for over 10 years. She shoots family portraits and weddings on her own as well as through me. I feel so lucky to be able to share my passion with her. I feel the coverage that we get together at a wedding is amazing, from portraits to candid shots, we are really in sync with eachother on your wedding day.
