I have been photographing weddings here in the Washington DC area for over 20 years. I have been to so many wedding venues and always love going to somewhere that I haven’t been before. There are a few places that I shoot on on a consistent basis and know very well. Sometimes you learn the light at a venue and can pick up on the spots that always produce the most amazing shots. I always love working somewhere new and finding those spots that are different and have a variety of backgrounds and ways of capturing the light. I feel like I can pick them out pretty fast – doing this for as long as I have been, gives me the expertise to find the most flattering light for your memories.

One of my all time favorites! The Oaks recently went through a huge renovation after it was purchased by new owners. They transformed the spaces and even built new cottages for your vips to have amazing accomodations for your wedding. The upgrades that they did went way beyond and really give an upscale charm to an already amazing property.
