Kaitlyn lives up the street from me in Owings. I am friends with her mom Julie and when she asked me to do her senior pictures I jumped at the chance! Julie and her family just bought a wedding venue, Bohemian Overlook in North East Maryland. When I heard she bought it and wanted to do Kaitlyn’s pics there I was so excited. I have heard of Bohemian Overlook but had never been there – what an amazing property.. It sits right on the Elk River and has so many places for ceremony spots as well as a permanent tent for receptions. This is a photographer’s dream! Vineyards, a beach, tall grass, a long dock – i was overwhelmed with possibilities. I was trying to shoot for golden hour – which we got! I wish golden hour would last longer, then again subjects probably would get sick of me! I am always chasing that perfect light – then it’s gone! Kaitlyn was adorable and rocked her session!
